The beautiful lights that grace the top of the Empire State building are awe inspiring. The light are often used to celebrate various holidays and can be seen from the Bowery to the Bronx. The view of Manhattan from atop the Empire State Building is amazing, but Skydiving New York City is even more amazing!

The Empire State Building is a New York City Landmark and a National Historic Landmark. It stretches more than a quarter of a mile above the streets of Manhattan. The 86th floor Observatory offers panoramic views from within a glass enclosed pavilion. The pavilion is surrounded by an open-air promenade. Since 1931, almost one-hundred-million visitors have marveled at the majestic vision of Manhattan beneath them. High powered binoculars line the promenades outside the Observatory. Souvenir counters are also located in the 86th floor observatory. The elevator and the 86th floor observatory is handicap accessible. Visitors with tickets purchased online save time by bypassing the ticket line after passing through the security check.

The Empire State Building has been named by the American Society of Civil Engineers as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. The Empire State Building is a one-hundred-tw-o story landmark skyscraper in New York City. Its name is derived from the nickname for the state of New York, The Empire State. The Empire State Building is the third tallest skyscraper in the Americas and the 15th tallest in the world. It is also the fourth tallest freestanding structure in America.

The Empire State Building has been lit up in honor of baseball games, Caribbean tourism, and even a circus opening, The first light on the top of the Empire State Building was a white searchlight beacon, which was turned on in November of 1932 to celebrate Franklin D. Roosevelt winning the presidential election. Colors were introduced to the Empire State Building’s lights in 1976, when the tower was lit in red, white and blue in celebration of the American Bicentennial. Since then, the variety of colors has continued to grow. The lights have been used to bring attention to good causes as well. The building has been lit with pink and white for breast cancer awareness on special days since 1990, and in other colors for National Osteoporosis Society and Alzheimer’s disease awareness.

After you check out the Empire State Building, take time to go skydiving in New York City. Even with all the amazing things to see and do in New York City, your Long Island Skydive could easily be the highlight of your trip.

Niagara Falls State Park draws millions of visitors each year who want an opportunity to view the falls from one of the many outlooks. But there are many more Niagara Falls attractions to experience while you’re here. Niagara Falls has casinos, museums, a State Park, caves, and helicopter and boat tours.

Historically, the Niagara Region is one of the richest areas in all of Canada and much of that history has been preserved and is available to the visitor. The word “Niagara” is derived from the Iroquois Indian word “Onguiaahra” meaning “the strait”. Niagara Falls borders both the Province of Ontario and the State of New York. Niagara Falls attracts some 12 Million tourists each year. Niagara Falls is the second largest falls in the world next to Victoria Falls in southern Africa. Niagara Falls has two hydroelectric plants that draw water into their reservoirs prior to the falls.

Visitors can take tours of wine routes, visit the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture, watch the passage of ships on the world famous Welland Canal, visit the beaches of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario or stop by Niagara’s bountiful fruit orchards.

Discover a whole new side of Niagara Falls through world-class attractions: Journey Behind the Falls, Niagara’s Fury, Butterfly Conservatory, Niagara Falls Illumination, Niagara Falls Fireworks, Maid of the Mist, Whirlpool Aero Car, White Water Walk and more!

Table Rock Welcome Center is the heart of Niagara Parks where every year over 8 million visitors come to see the thundering water rushing over the Horseshoe Falls! Other great tourist stops are the Fallsview Hotel and the Fallsview Casino Resort. From the Fallsview Casino Resort it is a short walk to the Falls Incline Railway. The Railway will transport you down the moraine to Table Rock. From the Clifton Hill tourist area, another short walk will lead you through the beautiful gardens of Queen Victoria Park. You might also want to visit the Queen Victoria Place Gift Shop.

Once you have taken in the great views at Niagara Falls, you should schedule a trip to go Skydiving New York City. Skydiving in New York City will provide you with another spectacular visual experience during your New York visit.

The Catskill Mountains, an area in New York State northwest of New York City and southwest of Albany, has been one of the most visited areas in New York.

For nature lovers the Catskills is the destination of choice in New York State. The Catskills has ninety-eight peaks more than 3,000 feet high and covering more than 4,000 square miles. There are five major rivers, the Mohonk Preserve, Catskill Park, wild forests, crystal lakes and fertile valleys. The Catskills has an abundance of natural beauty no mater what season you visit.

Historically, Native Americans, pioneering early immigrants, Victorian elite, philosophers and counter-culturalists, educators and adventurers all have taken in the fragrant mountain air and pure lake waters. In fact it’s the travelers in the Catskills that have shaped the history of the region. During the nineteenth century, the region became a destination for wealthy urbanites seeking vacation retreats from New York City.

The Catskills is a vacation destination filled with summer resorts and campgrounds. Many ethnic groups from New York City established summer resorts in the region.
The larger Jewish resorts together became known as the “Borscht Belt,” where many comics and musicians got their start in show business.

The Catskill Region is made up of four counties, Delaware County, Greene County, Sullivan County and Ulster County.

Delaware County is the largest and most western of the four counties. River and reservoir valleys offer the most stunning vistas. Delaware County offers, skiing, horseback riding, kayaking, fishing and much more. You can visit craft studios, art galleries, main street festivals and great farmer’s markets. But what makes Delaware County such an attractive destination is lots and lots of peace and quiet.

Greene County is the smallest, northernmost county in the region. It is located between the Hudson River and the Catskill Mountains. Greene County has the highest cascading falls in New York State, the Kaaterskill Falls. Greene County was fist visited by the explorer Henry Hudson in 1609. Greene County has also been featured in Washington Irving’s Rip Van Winkle. Greene County is also home to Hunter and Windham ski areas.

Sullivan County is in the southernmost corner of the region and is the closest to New York City. Sullivan County played host to the world-famous 1969 Woodstock Music Festival in the Town of Bethel. Filled with lakes, vast forests and deep valleys, Sullivan County offers some of the world’s best trout fishing.

Ulster County boasts the oldest streets in America in New Paltz. Kingston is New York’s first capital, which is home to the only four corners in the U.S. where four 18th-century stone structures still stand. Ulster County also has twelve wineries and the Maverick Concerts and the Byrdclif fearts colony.

While you are visiting New York, make sure you take time to go skydiving in New York City. As great as a trip to the Catskills can be, Skydiving New York City will be the experience that you tell your friends about.
